ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): United Auto Industries (Private) Limited has announced an increase in motorcycle prices, which will become effective from April 11.
According to a notification issued by the company on April 3, 2026, a change in prices had become unavoidable due to rising inflation and increase in production costs.
As per the notification, the company previously made every effort to keep prices stable, but the recent increase in petroleum products and raw material prices has made it difficult to maintain current rates.
In this context, prices of various models have been increased by Rs3,000 to 5,000.
Company officials stated that the prices of 70cc and 100cc motorcycles have been increased by Rs3,000, while the price of 125cc models has been increased by up to Rs5,000.
The purpose of this increase is stated to be to cover rising costs and maintain the company’s operations.
The company has clarified that the new prices will be effective from April 11, 2026, and will only apply to new bookings, while it will not apply to motorcycles booked earlier.
United Auto Industries further stated that the decision has been made under compulsion due to the current economic conditions, however, it said, prices may be reviewed in the future if conditions improve.
