MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Election Commission Azad Jammu and Kashmir has issued notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) AJK for April 4 in connection with the party registration case.
According to the Election Commission sources, all documents submitted by PTI for party registration will be formally scrutinized on the next hearing.
For this purpose, PTI has been directed to appear before the Election Commission AJK on April 4.
Another claimant to the PTI
It is pertinent to mention that a petition has also been filed by Akbar S. Babar in the Election Commission, stating that Tehreek-e-Insaf should be registered under his name, but that petition will be heard later.
During the hearing on April 4, Chief Election Commissioner Justice (R) Mustafa Mughal, Member Election Commission Nazir Gilani, and Secretary Election Commission will thoroughly review the documents submitted by PTI.
It should be noted that according to the decision of the High Court AJK, the registration of all political parties was suspended. The registration of Jamaat-e-Islami and Muslim Conference has been approved by the Election Commission.
