RIYADH (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Embassy has issued a new advisory because of a potential emergency that might occur in Saudi Arabia.
Pakistani citizens should notify the embassy about any emergencies that they encounter. The Pakistani Embassy established emergency contact numbers to assist Pakistani citizens who live in Saudi Arabia and those who enter the country on visit visas or for the Umrah pilgrimage.
The embassy provided Pakistani citizens with two landline numbers that they can use to contact the embassy at any time they need assistance. The advisory provides citizens with two mobile numbers, which they can use to contact the embassy at +966563870732 and +966542099348.
The embassy has assigned its staff members to every Saudi airport so they can provide Pakistani citizens with guidance and assistance during emergency situations.
The embassy has instructed Pakistanis to observe all current guidelines about the ongoing situation, and they should contact the embassy if they experience any problems.

This advisory was issued by the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh. The statement has asked Pakistani citizens to remain calm in the current situation, avoid panic, and fully respect local laws.
According to the embassy, the instructions issued by the Saudi government should be strictly followed, urging Pakistani’s residing in Saudi Arabia not to pay attention to any kind of rumors.
Special caution should be exercised in using social media. Do not share such posts or comments that are against Saudi laws. Officials say that problems may arise in case of violation of the law.
Taking overseas Pakistanis in trust, the authorities stated that the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh is active around the clock. Special teams have been formed to deal with emergencies.
Staff have also been deployed at the airport so that immediate assistance can be provided if needed. Citizens can contact the embassy in case of any problem.
The advisory further states that the Pakistani Consulate in Jeddah is also on alert. Helpline numbers have been issued for emergencies. These numbers will be available 24 hours a day. Diplomatic officials have assured that the safety of Pakistani citizens is the top priority.
