RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Security forces have killed 10 more Indian-sponsored terrorists in an ongoing intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Zhob District, the military said on Thursday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), eight Indian sponsored Khwarij were successfully neutralized in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sambaza area of Zhob on February 24, 2026.
Furthermore, during a comprehensive area sanitization operation, security forces hunt down hiding terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij.
“During the conduct of the operation, own forces tracked down Khwarij on multiple routes and effectively engaged their locations,” it said.
The military’s media wing stated that after an ensuing fire exchange, “ten Indian sponsored Khwarij were sent to hell.”
“Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area,” the statement said.
“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.”
