ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Severe earthquake tremors were felt in different parts of the country, including Azad Kashmir.
Tremors were felt at Neelum Valley, Chakothi, Khulna Valley, Chinari, Pahl, and its suburbs late last night.
Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and Rawalpindi late last night at around 2:15 am, including various areas of northern Pakistan.
Earthquake tremors were also felt in Swat, Shangla, and Buner.
According to initial reports, no loss of life or property was reported from the earthquake.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.8 and the depth was recorded at 159 kilometers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was the border area of Tajikistan and Xinjiang.
Officials advised residents to remain cautious and follow standard safety measures during such natural events
