MIRPUR (Asif Iqbal): Managing Director Azad Kashmir Small Industries Corporation, Zeeshan Arif, reviewed the progress of the “Prime Minister Youth Loan Program,” aimed at providing interest-free loans to the youth.

He paid an important visit to the Regional Office of the Bank of Azad  Jammu and Kashmir in Mirpur. The Youth Loan Program is being jointly implemented by Azad Kashmir Small Industries Corporation and Bank of AJK.

During the visit, officials of both institutions agreed to provide interest-free loans to the youth soon.

Upon reaching the Regional Office, he was welcomed by Regional Head Saeeda Kausar, Regional Credit Manager Nadeem Khan, Regional Operation Manager Raja Waseem, and Divisional Officer Small Industries Corporation Raja Niaz.

During the meeting, the Regional Head gave a detailed briefing to the MD of Small Industries about the provision of loans in Mirpur Division, the process of receiving applications, and the future course of action.

Managing Director Zeeshan Arif, while inspecting various branches, emphasized that the timely disbursement of loans on all applications received should be made possible at all costs.

He said that if the youth get timely financial resources, it will not only restore their confidence in the state and institutions, but also the youth of the state will become economically strong and move towards improvement.

On the instructions of MD Small Industries, Regional Head Ms. Saeeda Kausar and other officers present in the meeting assured full cooperation from the Bank of Azad Kashmir.

He assured that this process of providing loans will be completed within the stipulated time so that the deserving youth can start their jobs without delay.

Zeeshan Arif directed bank managers to maintain the availability of loan forms and smooth operations so that no borrower has to go around the bank, and the entire process is completed with transparency.
