ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The last supermoon of this year will be clearly visible in Pakistan on the night of December 4 and 5. In this regard, SPARCO (Pakistan Space and Research Organization) has released details.

According to SPARCO, December’s cold moon will be visible across Pakistan as a large and bright moon. A supermoon occurs when the moon reaches its perigee, i.e., its closest point to the Earth, due to which the moon appears larger and brighter than usual.

SPARCO says that December’s cold moon is the third and final supermoon of this year. The supermoon will peak at 4:15 am on December 5 with a brightness of 99.8%.

The moon will rise at 4:58 pm on December 4 and will be 99% bright at that time. SPARC said that the supermoon will be about 7.9% larger and 15% brighter than a normal full moon.

The distance between the Earth and the Moon will be 357,218 km on December 4 and 5. According to Sparco, a supermoon usually occurs 3 to 4 times a year, and this scene can be easily seen without any special equipment in clear weather.

Experts said that people who are keen on watching the supermoon can enjoy the beauty of the sky that night, and this opportunity will also prove to be the best for photography.

With clear skies in various cities of Pakistan, citizens will be able to fully observe the last supermoon of this month
