BAHRAIN (Kashmir English): In a groundbreaking move, Bahrain has announced good news by easing the rules to get a Golden visa, which is exciting news for those who want to reside in Bahrain.
According to the details, Bahrain has relaxed its residency requirements, cut the minimum investment requirement related to the Golden Visa by 35%.
The Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs of Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior stated that the investment threshold of the country has been reduced from 200,000 Bahraini Dinar to 130,000 Bahraini Dinar.
Presently, this is available for those who have property worth at least 130,000 Bahraini Dinar. As mentioned earlier, the Golden Residency Visa has now been made available to people in different categories.
These include real estate investors, professionals earning a minimum of 2,000 Bahraini Dinar per month, retired individuals who have worked in Bahrain for 15 years, and non-resident retirees whose pensions are 4,000 Bahraini Dinar or more.
All applicants will have to apply online through the Ministry’s portal.
Along with the application, they need to provide their passport, six months of bank statements, health insurance, and proof of residence. The application fee is 5 Bahraini Dinar. Golden Visa holders can work anywhere in the country.
