LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Punjab School Education Department has extended the deadline for submitting applications for the recruitment of School Teacher Interns (STIs) until today (Wednesday).
The decision to extend the deadline until Nov 26 was taken after technical issues surfaced on the online portal.
According to official sources, candidates can now submit their applications until 26 November, while the merit list would be displayed on 1 December.
According to a notification, the appointment orders for the final selected candidates would be issued on December 6.
It is noteworthy that applications for the recruitment of 15,000 candidates were initially opened until 12 November. However, due to repeated technical glitches on the portal, the department decided to extend the deadline.
STI recruitment schedule
Merit lists will be displayed on school notice boards on December 1, 2025.
The tehsil-level committee will address complaints from December 2 to 3, 2025.
Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be conducted on December 4, 2025.
The final merit list will be uploaded on the portal and displayed on school notice boards on December 6, 2025, at 10 AM.
The education department has advised applicants to follow the revised schedule and be prepared accordingly.
