SOUTH WAZIRISTAN (Kashmir English): In a recent development, a grand clearance operation is underway against three Khawarij inside Wana Cadet College, South Waziristan, according to the security sources.

According to the security sources, the Khawarij are hiding in a building that is far away from the cadets’ residence. The three Khawarij are in constant communication with Afghanistan and are taking all the instructions through telephone, sources further stated.

They aim to attack innocent tribal children and spread terrorism in Pakistan, which has nothing to do with Islam or the prosperity of the Pakistani people.

The security forces have vowed that the operation will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated and the area will be completely secured.

This operation is considered important to ensure the security of not only the college but also the entire area. The presence of forces and precautionary measures is being taken to ensure that the students and staff of the college remain safe.

Earlier, on November 10, Security forces foiled a terrorist attack at Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan District on Monday, killing two Khawarij, the military’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists belonging to the India-backed Fitna al Khwarij attacked Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan district on November 10.

The military said that the assailants attempted to breach the perimeter security; however, “their nefarious designs were swiftly foiled by the vigilant and resolute response of their own troops.”

A suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate, resulting in the collapse of the main gate and damage to adjacent infrastructure. Meanwhile, security troops engaged and eliminated two khwarij.
