ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan has struck the camps of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur militant faction along the border areas of North and South Waziristan districts inside Afghanistan, sources said on Friday night.
As per the sources, the forces conducted precision strikes in retaliation for the Gul Bahadur group Kharijis’ attempt to multiple terrorist attacks inside Pakistan in the last 48 hours, which were effectively countered.
During the effective response by security forces, more than 100 Kharjis have been sent to hell over the last 48 hours, a source said.
It was further learnt that these terrorists, affiliated with Gul Bahadur Group, also undertook a vehicle-borne IED attack today in North Waziristan in which a soldier embraced martyrdom and multiple were injured.
In retaliation for these attacks, the forces undertook precision strikes, targeting the leadership of the militant group.
The security sources said that a minimum of 60 to 70 Kharjis and their leadership have been killed based on confirmed intelligence reports.
