LONDON (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that he wishes to engage with India based on equality, emphasizing that Pakistan-India ties cannot be established without resolving the Kashmir issue.

Addressing a ceremony at the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation in London, PM Shehbaz said that Pakistan and India are neighbors of each other, and we have to live together.

He added that Pakistan and India have fought four wars, and the billions of dollars spent on wars should have been spent on the development and prosperity of the people.

He said that the blood of Kashmiris will not go in vain. In addition, the Prime Minister also recited poems while paying tribute to Overseas Pakistanis.

During his four-day stay in London as part of his visit to the UK, the Prime Minister met with the Pakistani community and business leaders.

Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar said that the Prime Minister’s address in London will be broadcast this afternoon.

He said that the Prime Minister gave a passionate speech. A large number of people participated.

The Prime Minister spoke about Operation Banyan Marsus, the economy, and diplomatic relations.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for the United States from London today to attend the United Nations General Assembly session.

The Prime Minister will address the United Nations General Assembly and will also participate in a special session on Gaza.

During his visit to the United States, the Prime Minister will present Pakistan’s position on the Kashmir issue, Palestine, and the attack on Qatar.
