Human rights violations in occupied Kashmir
The speakers said that after the abrogation of Article 370, India has intensified massacres, genocide and gross human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, while seizing properties of Kashmiris and imprisoning their leaders under draconian laws in violation of the UN Charter and Geneva Conventions.
They demanded the immediate, unconditional release of all Kashmiri prisoners. They emphasized that AJK’s political and religious leadership must rise above ideological differences and work strategically for the Kashmir cause, adding that development in Azad Kashmir remains negligible while the recent rains have caused immense destruction.
They urged the federal government to announce a special package for Azad Kashmir.
