MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department team is trying effortlessly to protect and drain the Timber wood collected in the Nausiri Dam by the Forest Department

In addition to the protection of the wood, the Director of Forests, Muzaffarabad Mir Naseer, and the Superintendent of Forests, Mazhar Naqvi, along with the staff of the department, are present at the Nausiri location, and the drainage of the wood is being effectively monitored.

A huge amount of wood flowing in cloudbursts and flood rails has accumulated in the Nausiri Dam. The Forest Department team is draining the wood from the dam and transporting it to the markets of Patka and Muzaffarabad.

For the drainage of wood from the Nausiri Dam, staff from various divisions of the Forest Department are present all the time.

The Forest Department has also made reasonable arrangements for the protection of the wood present in the dam and the surrounding area. Muzaffarabad Forest Division for safety, drainage, and monitoring. More staff have been deployed along with the staff of the Forest Development Division.

The Director General of Forests Development has also issued an order to depute the field staff of the Renewal Division, who are posted in Panjkot-Bulgran, for the protection and removal of timber in the Nauseri Dam.

25 employees from Panjkot and Bulgran blocks have been assigned additional duties of protecting and monitoring timber in the Nauseri Dam. The Forest Department team has also received cooperation from the local administration and police.
