ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated on Sunday that Pakistan possesses video proof backing the shooting down of all six Indian jets by the Pakistan Air Force in the recent Marka-e-Haq.
Addressing a seminar entitled “Global Impacts of Pakistan’s Military and Diplomatic Triumphs over India”, organized by the Waris Mir Foundation at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Naqvi lauded the services of the armed forces, intelligence apparatus, and national leadership of Pakistan for the country’s triumph in the May 2025 war.
Naqvi informed that all the enemy’s moves and actions were intercepted beforehand in the war. He disclosed that Pakistan, after the Indian jets had been shot down, preferred not to make the victory public until they had tangible proof.
“Videos of all six downed Indian aircraft have been accessed within minutes, and I am releasing this today,” he said. He added that while Pakistan had immediate radar records, the leadership opted to hold back until field evidence was gathered.
The minister emphasized the key role played by Pakistan’s intelligence agencies, saying that they received advance news of Indian choices, flight operations, and plans in the war. “Our intelligence agencies were functioning quietly but firmly in the background, and they must get the recognition they fully deserve,” he said.
In tribute to what he referred to as the “hidden soldiers” of intelligence, Naqvi added that the country also saw providential aid in times of war. He noted that India launched seven missiles at a Pakistani army camp, but none hit the target.
“Conviction, belief, and faith are arms that seek the assistance of Allah,” he observed, noting Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal General Asim Munir had defended Pakistan against Indian aggression in response with courage and conviction. He stated Pakistan’s forces attacked several strategic targets within India and succeeded in all missions assigned by the leadership.
Reminding a meeting with a Saudi delegation during the war, Naqvi stated that Field Marshal Munir had likened India to a “shining car” and Pakistan to a “loaded dumper,” suggesting the result of their collision was certain.
The minister pinned the Pakistani civil and military leadership’s unity, as seen in the national action plan against terrorism, against India’s internal fights, as the army and air chiefs had separately met with Prime Minister Modi, according to reports.
He blamed Indian leaders Ajit Doval and Amit Shah for staging the Pulwama “false-flag drama” that initiated the conflict, saying that their policies would end up damaging India itself.
Naqvi praised the political consensus in Pakistan during the war, noting that all major parties stood united. He also said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s diplomatic voice carried weight abroad, while the Indian delegation faced challenges in lobbying.
He said India was openly sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that Pakistan had concrete evidence of New Delhi’s involvement. He vowed that Pakistan would continue to pursue the Kashmir cause until Kashmiris were granted their UN-mandated right to self-determination.
Naqvi concluded by lauding Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for standing strong despite global pressure following the Indian jets.
He emphasized that the prevailing political and administrative arrangement in Pakistan should persist to maintain the stability and prosperity of the country.
