ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): PTI Azad Kashmir has announced a large-scale public contact campaign that will officially begin after the 10th of Muharram. The decision was made during a high-level meeting held via video link, chaired by the party’s central secretary general, Salman Akram Raja.

The meeting was attended by senior leaders of PTI Azad Kashmir, including the party president and former Prime Minister of AJK, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi. He briefed the leadership on the current political situation and internal party matters. Raja expressed full confidence in Niazi’s leadership and praised his handling of party affairs.

Salman Akram Raja also conveyed a special message from Imran Khan, Patron-in-Chief and Ambassador of Kashmir, regarding preparations for the upcoming elections. PTI Azad Kashmir has decided to launch a comprehensive public mobilisation campaign after the 10th of Muharram. Worker conventions will be held in all districts to mobilise organisational office-bearers and workers.

“Prepare for the elections with full force. The entire party stands firmly with you,” Raja said.

The public is with the party’s founder and chairman, Imran Khan. The campaign will be launched with full strength to convey Khan’s message to every household. The central leadership has pledged full support, and PTI aims to achieve a resounding victory in the upcoming elections. “A system of oppression and tyranny cannot last long,” Raja added.

Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi also briefed Raja about the nomination of Chaudhry Hameed Pothi during his recent visit to Khari Sharif, to which Raja responded with satisfaction.

President Niazi expressed deep concern over the treatment of Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and other leaders and workers in jail, calling it the worst political revenge in Pakistan’s history.

During the meeting, Niazi also shared updates about his recent visit to Khari Sharif and confirmed the nomination of Chaudhry Hameed Pothi for an upcoming election ticket. Raja expressed his satisfaction with the decision.

As Pakistan continues to face serious political and economic challenges, PTI Azad Kashmir is positioning itself to deliver a strong message in the next elections. Party leaders expressed confidence in surprising their opponents at the polls through a united and well-organised effort.
