The offer can also be availied via the Pak-ID mobile application.

NADRA digital system

Meanwhile, the NADRA has launched a digital system for birth and death registration at hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country.

According to a NADRA spokesperson, agreements have been signed between NADRA and the provincial governments to modernise the civil registration system.

A formal signing ceremony was held in Karachi, where the Sindh government and NADRA Sindh signed the agreement.

This modernised civil registration system will enable hospitals and health centres to send birth and death data directly to NADRA.

According to the authority, this will ensure accurate and timely updates to the national database. The improved data collection will support economic development and technological advancement under the government’s “Uraan Pakistan” programme

NADRA highlighted that the new data-driven approach will contribute to revolutionary initiatives such as the digital ID system and a broader digital economy.
