The NDMA predicts that from July 13 to 17, there will be extensive thundershowers in a number of areas, including eastern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Islamabad, Punjab, and Kashmir. In places that are vulnerable, the rainstorm may cause both riverine and flash flooding due to an active monsoon system.
The NDMA has issued a heavy rain and flood alert for the majority of urban and mountainous areas due to the substantial rainfall that the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast for the next few days.
