ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that Pakistan achieved a historic win in a four-day war with India, and now the acknowledgment from the recent US Congress Report seals the victory.
While addressing the ceremony of Danish School Bagh, PM Shehbaz stated that he recent US Congress report had vindicated the success of Pakistan, and noted that the US President Donald Trump also repeatedly mentions the downing of Indian aircraft in his speeches.
He added that during the entire conflict, the armed forces of Pakistan under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir showed extraordinary bravery and professionalism.
The Prime Minister said the country would continue striving for excellence not only on the battlefield but also in the economic arena. “We will achieve success in the economy just as we did in defense,” he said, emphasizing his government is working day and night for the country’s progress and development.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that Allah Almighty has dignified Pakistan at the global level, and the nation stands resilient and respected across the world.
He vowed to fulfill all commitments made with the Azad Kashmir Committee and resolved that the newly elected leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will serve the people to the best of their abilities.
He asserted Pakistan’s unwavering stand on the Kashmir cause and vowed to continue extending moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle.
He concluded with the hope that the AJK Prime Minister, along with his team, would work incessantly for public welfare and development in the region.
