UK-based ‘HOPE Foundation’ hosts free eye camp in Mirpur

MIRPUR (Kashmir English): United Kingdom-based NGO ‘Hope Foundation’ organized the first annual free eye camp at Jamia Masjid Hussain in densely populated Sector D/4 for delivering free treatment to the patients of various kind of eye diseases.
Over 350 in- and outdoor patients were examined and a total 54 surgeries were performed in the day-long free eye camp.

Hope Foundation hosts eye camp

The eye patients from the city and rest of the district rushed to the camp to get their eyes checked from the seasoned eye physicians and surgeons, spokesman of Hope Foundation said on Sunday.
Unveiling the details, the spokesman said that the first annual free eye camp hosted by Hope Foundation at Jamia Masjid Hussain Education and Skill Center Mirpur was successfully organized, in which more than 350 patients participated.
After detailed screening, 54 patients were operated free of cost. Those in need were also provided with free spectacles and eye drops.
The eye camp was managed in collaboration with Baghdad Tour Group 2025. The patients were provided with free glasses and eye drops.
