WASHINGTON, DC (Kashmir English): US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he played a key role in stopping the Pakistan-India war, and all this was possible through the threat of imposing 350 percent tariffs.

President Trump, while addressing the Saudi Business Forum, said that he stopped the Pakistan-India war by threatening to impose 350 percent tariffs.

He clarified that Pakistan and India were close to nuclear war at that time, and the situation was very serious. Trump said that I said if you don’t stop the war, I will impose tariffs and you will not be able to trade with the United States.

In his speech, the US President further said that he was told that you can’t do that, to which I replied that I am starting to do it.

He said that I will not let nuclear weapons be used that kill millions of people and nuclear dust fly over Los Angeles. According to Trump, he offered a good trade deal in case of not going to war, after which the Indian Prime Minister called and said that he was not going to war.

According to the US President, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also called and thanked him and said that Trump does not know it, but he saved millions of lives.

President Trump claimed that if he had not intervened in this matter, the situation could have taken a serious turn and the conflict could have reached nuclear limits.

He said that Pakistan and India were on the verge of nuclear war, and he could not remain without taking immediate action to prevent any possible disaster in this regard.

It should be remembered that the US President has mentioned the ceasefire between Pakistan and India dozens of times before. He had also said yesterday that 8 major wars in the world should be stopped, which he is proud of.

In this statement, he also referred to the Pakistan-India war, which, according to him, was about to start again but was stopped due to his intervention.

According to President Trump, his goal has always been to save human lives and maintain peace on a global scale. He said that through trade pressure and tough economic decisions, he can also prevent major conflicts like war, and this is the strategy he used in the tense situation between Pakistan and India.

All these claims are part of Trump’s repeated statements regarding his role in global conflicts, in which he takes the position that he helped maintain peace by taking timely steps in several serious global crises.
