CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): TikTok has added a new feature that will help users customize their security settings in the app.
The popular video-sharing platform has a “Security Checkup” hub where users can find several security settings all in one place.
This feature allows users to check for suspicious activity, get suggestions to improve account security, enable a passcode to log in, or set up two-factor authentication.
This feature also allows users to view or delete logged-in devices, offering a layer of further security. Accessing the Security Checkup hub is simple; users can do this by going to the settings and privacy menu within the app, and then clicking “Security and permissions.”
This feature is part of TikTok’s ongoing safety and security enhancements. On a related note, TikTok has also rolled out parental controls to allow parents to monitor activity for their kids under the age of 18.
The goal is to allow parents more control over the child’s user experience and monitor their safety on the app.
