KOTLI (Kashmir English): The three-day annual Urs of Hazrat Sain Godri Badshah (RA) and Hazrat Sain Farzand Hussain Farooqi (RA) is starting from April 25 this year under the patronage of Sajjada Nashin Sain Shahzad Hussain Qadri.

The Urs will continue for three days in which important national and political personalities, eminent scholars and Naat Khwans would participate in large numbers with devotion and respect.
Hazrat Sain Farzand Hussain Farooqi Sajjada Nashin Sayah Sharif was born in 1940 to Sain Wilayat Hussain, the fourth son of Qalandar Zaman Baba Godri Badshah RA, and received religious and spiritual education and training in his arms.
He was fifteen years old when his father passed away. Then the responsibility fell on his shoulders.
During his life, his great son the current Sajjada Nashin, Pir Shahzad Hussain Farooqi, also established a Darul Uloom.
The work of education of male and female students and welfare of God’s creatures is being done in a very good manner. Thousands of people from all over the country attend the Urs.
