SYDENY (Kashmir English): The Sydney Bondi Beach terrorist has been identified as Naveed Akram, an Afghan national who is allegedly linked to terrorist networks in Afghanistan, according to sources.

As per the sources,” He belongs to Nangarhar province and is allegedly linked to terrorist networks in Afghanistan.

Naveed Akram was an “outstanding student” at Sydney’s Al-Murad Islamic Institute, according to his professors.”

Earlier, in the incident, at least 10 people were killed, and others were injured in a fatal shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.

The shooting incident took place on Sydney’s Bondi Beach, where two armed men opened fire on citizens, resulting in 10 people killed and 12 injured, according to reports so far.

According to the report, one of the dead was the shooter, while the second attacker has been detained by the police.

Foreign media reports say that the shooting incident occurred during a Jewish holiday celebration, while after the shooting, the police surrounded the area and instructed the local population to stay away from Bondi Beach.

Australian authorities said that ten people were killed and about a dozen were injured in a shooting by armed men during a Jewish holiday celebration on Sydney’s Bondi Beach on Sunday.

New South Wales Police said two people were in custody, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) said at least one of the two gunmen was among those killed.

According to local media reports, several people were injured as a result of the shooting, while television channels broadcast scenes in which people fell to the ground and rescue operations were underway.

A New South Wales Ambulance spokeswoman said about a dozen people were taken to local hospitals after the shooting.
