NAROWAL (Kashmir English): Keeping in view the recent situation of rains and floods in Pakistan, the Deputy Commissioner of Narowal has extended school summer vacations until September 7, with the district still experiencing flooding.

The news was announced on Saturday, following reports in the media that the prevailing situation of floods has made it unsafe to restart schools. Both private and government schools will remain shut during this period.

Administrators said the extension will help protect students, teachers, and school personnel as relief and recovery operations in the affected areas continue.
