State Youth Assembly to host ‘Youth for Peace Summit’ from July 18-20

NEELUM (Kashmir English): The State Youth Assembly (SYA) is gearing up to host its fourth “Youth for Peace Summit” (YPS) in Neelum Valley from July 18 to 20, 2025.

This was announced by State Youth Assembly Secretary-General Abdul Aziz Awan in a press release. The theme of this year’s event is “Tourism for Peace”.

Picturesque Neelum Valley

The three-day event will take place in the picturesque Neelum Valley of Azad Kashmir, aiming to promote tourism in the region and spread a message of peace among young people.

Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Kohala, Muzaffarabad, Dhani Waterfall, Chilhanna Crossing Point, Kutton Waterfall, Keran, Sharda, Ratti Gali, and Arang Kel.

This unique event will seamlessly blend tourism, culture, and Sufi discourse. A large number of young individuals from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and across Pakistan are expected to attend. Various delegates and representatives from different organizations are expected to attend the event.

The inaugural ceremony will be held in Muzaffarabad, with political and social figures from Azad Kashmir attending as chief guests.

The summit will conclude with a closing ceremony at the beautiful location of Arang Kel.

Abdul Aziz Awan stated that the State Youth Assembly has successfully organized three previous events, and this fourth summit is anticipated to be a significant step towards promoting tourism and peace in Azad Kashmir.
