One woman was discharged from the hospital after providing her first aid.

Doctors at the THQ Hospital are striving to save the life of the patient. The child injured by snakebite belongs to Bela, a suburban area of Hajira, while one woman belongs to Basari Sudhanoti and one to Ziarat Mohalla Hajira.

Snake bite cases

It is worth noting that poisonous snakes are abundant in most areas of Tehsil Hajira, and dozens of citizens fall victim to them annually.

In recent days, a young man named Moasib Aftab from Kakota, a suburban area of Hajira, also fell victim to a poisonous snake and passed away after struggling between life and death for six days at PIMS Hospital Islamabad.

Citizens have demanded the government to immediately ensure the provision of antivenin at local level.
