Security forces neautralise eight terrorists in Tank operation: ISPR

RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Security forces killed eight Indian sponsored terrorists [khwarij] in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops conducted an operation on the reported presence of Khwarij belonging to the Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.

“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged khawarij locations, and after an intense fire exchange, eight Indian sponsored khawarij were sent to hell,” the ISPR statement stated.

Security forces recovered large caches of weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the forces and the killing of innocent civilians, it reads.

“Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” th statement added.
