RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The security forces have foiled an infiltration attempt by Indian-backed Khawarijs, killing 47 militants in a two-day operation in Zhob, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
33 Khawarij militants were killed in successful operations by security forces in the Sambaza area of Zhob district on August 7 and 8.
Later, on the intervening night of August 8 and 9, a planned clearance operation was carried out in the vicinity of Sambaza near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, during which 14 more Indian-backed Khawarij militants were killed.
The movement of a large group of infiltrating Indian proxy group “Fitna-ul-Khawarij” was traced, and the security forces took immediate and effective action.
Arms, ammunition, and other explosives were recovered from the possession of the slain Khawarij militants.
The total number of Indian-backed Khawarij militants killed during the 2-day counter-terrorism operation has reached 47.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, any attempt to harm the security of Pakistan’s borders, peace, stability, and development will be thwarted.
Pakistan’s security forces are determined to defend the country’s borders and completely eliminate Indian-backed terrorism.
Security forces eliminate 11 Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists in Panjgur
Earlier this month, Pakistan’s security forces on Friday killed 11 Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists in the Panjgur area of Balochistan district.
According to the official sources, on the night of 1 August, troops of 91 Wing of FC Balochistan South deployed in the Gwargo area, Panjgur, had an engagement with the Fitna al Hindustan terrorists.
Troops were fully alert on the provision of timely intelligence by intelligence tentacles, the official statement said.
“During the effective engagement, 11 Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists were sent to hell while 2 FC jawans embraced Shahadat while fighting bravely with the terrorists.”
Clearance operation has been launched to wipe out remaining terrorists in the area.
