QUETTA (Kashmir English): Security forces have destroyed more posts of the Afghan Taliban forces along the Pak-Afghan border in Balochistan and recovered weapons, sources said on Tuesday.
During the operation, the armed forces destroyed the Afghan Taliban’s Post-2 and Post-3, from where the Taliban personnel escaped. During surveillance, the troops found two weapons left behind in the posts.
Both weapons were recovered from Afghan Taliban posts, one weapon was found damaged, where as other was in perfect condition.
The recovered weapons are HGL-9 73 mm, a Soviet-origin heavy grenade launcher, also referred to as SPG-9.
