SBP issues Rs75 commemorative coin to pay tribute to Marka-e-Haq

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday issued a Rs 75 commemorative coin to honor the bravery of the armed forces during the Marka-e-Haq on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.

The coin is made of nickel-brass with a composition of 79% copper, 20% zinc, and 1% nickel. It measures 30mm in diameter and weighs 13.5 grams.

The obverse side features a waxing crescent moon and a five-pointed star, representing progress and hope. The words “Islami Jamhuria Pakistan” are inscribed in Urdu along the upper edge, with the year “2025” displayed below the crescent.

The denomination “75” is written in bold letters on the right side, while “Rupia” is inscribed in Urdu script on the left side.

On the reverse side, the words “Marka-e-Haq” in Urdu script and “2025” in numerals are inscribed in the center, and the phrase “Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad” is written along the top edge. The reverse side also includes embossed images of two fighter jets, a naval ship, and a multiple rocket launcher system.

The commemorative coin is available at the exchange counters of all field offices of the SBP Banking Services Corporation starting August 15, 2025, SBP said.
