JEDDAH (Kashmir English): Saudi Arabia has awarded Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff(CJCSC), General Sahir Mirza, with the ‘King Abdul Aziz Medal of Honor of the Excellent Class’.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan’s Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military met with Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces General Fayyaz bin Hamid Al-Ruwaily during his visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, opportunities to further enhance bilateral defence cooperation, including the global and regional situation, were discussed.
Both military leaderships reiterated their commitment to further deepen the strong brotherhood and enduring defense partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
On the occasion of this meeting, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was awarded the ‘King Abdul Aziz Medal of Honor of the Excellent Class’ in recognition of his outstanding services in strengthening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations, especially military-level ties.
Saudi military leadership appreciated the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army and recognized their sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
