HAVELI KAHUTA (Kashmir English): Regional Head Federal Ombudsman Mansoor Qadir Dar held an open court at Rest House Forward Kahuta.
The Regional Head listened to public complaints and assured redressal for complaints from citizens.
Representatives from federal institutions such as PTA, NADRA, BISP, banks, and Bait-ul-Mal were also present on the occasion.
Ombudsman takes notice of complaints
Citizens complained about the Benazir Income Support Program, SCOM poor service, the dilapidated condition of the National Bank, and staff shortages.
Citizens said that no federal institution, except the NADRA office, is working properly. Deserving individuals are not receiving money from the Benazir Income Support Programme.
Due to shortage of bank staff, citizens have to suffer. They said that SCOM service is poor and one can’t receive SMS messages.
The Regional Head immediately ordered on complaints related to BISP. He assured that complaints related to banks, and WAPDA would be resolved within 60 days.
On this occasion, Mansoor Qadir Dar said that this district is backward. Institutions exist but are not guiding citizens properly.
He said most of the BISP-related cases are due to citizens not being properly guided. Service is a serious issue, he observed.
Later, the Regional Head also visited institutions including NADRA, Post Office, and BISP.
