MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has reaffirmed his resolve to provide common man with basic amenities of life.
He described road infrastructure, access to better healthcare and education facilities as top priority of his government.
The Prime Minister made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from Baandi Mithi Rait area of his home district Bhimber. The delegation called on him at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal metropolis on Saturday.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to equitable distribution of development funds, aiming for balanced growth and the welfare of all citizens across the state.
“We are ensuring that development funds are allocated fairly across all constituencies in AJK to foster growth, progress, and prosperity,” the premier stated.
He reiterated that the welfare of the populace was his life’s mission.
“We are particularly focusing on enhancing road infrastructure to boost tourism in the region,” the PM noted.
PM Haq on development schemes
Referring to various public-interest initiatives launched by his government in Bhimber district, Haq mentioned a 200-bed hospital currently under construction in Bhimber, establishment of a university that combines academic excellence with modern facilities and a nurturing learning environment.
He said now children seeking higher education will no longer need to travel long distances from Bhimber to Muzaffarabad.
He also pointed out that the construction of a Danish School represents another significant contribution to the education-focused community of the district.
The delegation, led by former District Council candidate Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Ali, expressed its gratitude to the Prime Minister for his dedicated service to the people of the state.
