ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Members and allottees of the Jammu & Kashmir Cooperative Housing Society (JKCHS) in F-16 sector, Islamabad, have announced a peaceful protest against the management of the society.
The allottees will stage a protest on Thursday, July 17, due to the society’s failure to develop and hand over possession of plots despite the passage of over two decades.
In a notice, the allottees have said that most of them have paid all dues, including additional development charges imposed by the registrar.
The members of society said that the protest will be held in front of the Registrar Co-operative Societies Department, Islamabad. They said that this office failed to implement its earlier decision, which directed the J&KCHS to develop and hand over the possession of plots within two years of time.
