MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir Central Senior Vice President Sahibzada Muhammad Ashfaq Zafar Advocate has termed the initial financial assistance received by the victims of the Chinari market fire as very low and demanded that Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq provide compensation to the victims of the Chinari Bazaar fire equal to their losses.
Speaking to the journalist after visiting the Chinari market, PPP Azad Kashmir leader Sahibzada Muhammad Ashfaq Zafar Advocate expressed sympathy for the victims of the fire during his visit to Chinari.
Ashfaq Zafar stated that compensation should be paid to the owners affected by the fire according to the building’s value and to the tenants according to their property’s value. It is regrettable to give a few thousand rupees to the victims.
It is hoped that the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir will give special leniency and issue orders to pay compensation to the victims of the Chinari Bazaar fire equal to the losses, so that the victims can earn a halal livelihood for their families as before.

Ashfaq Zafar said that urgent steps should be taken to restore the roads, electricity, and water supply in several areas closed due to the rains, so that the problems of the people could be alleviated.
The weather forecast has predicted more rain. The people should ensure that they follow the instructions of the administration so that no further damage is caused due to further rains.
