HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): The district police and intelligence agencies conducted a combing operation in different areas of the Jhelum Valley district.
A comprehensive search operation, under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hattian Bala Abdul Khaliq Raja, was conducted in Hattian Bala, Chinari, Chakothi, Chakar, and Reshian.
During the operation, a suspect, identified as Muhammad Waqas Mughal, resident of Garhi Dupatta, was arrested from the Reshian check post and shifted to City Police Station Hattian Bala.
According to the police, a case has been registered against the accused, and legal action has been initiated. The police spokesperson, no other noteworthy incident was identified during the combing operation.
However, it should be remembered that on August 26, a police constable was injured in a firing between two parties in Chakar Tehsil.
A large police force is still busy in the search operation to arrest the suspects; however, no major success was achieved in this regard during the combing operation.
