ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met the President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Shah Ghulam Qadir.
The meeting, also attended by Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah and Minister for Kashmir Affairs Engineer Amir Muqam, focused on the latest political developments in Azad Kashmir.
During the meeting, Shah Ghulam Qadir briefed PM Shehbaz on the current political situation and party matters in Azad Kashmir.
The premier expressed satisfaction with the performance of the PML-N in the region, emphasizing that Azad Kashmir is a top priority for the government of Pakistan.
PM Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Azad Kashmir’s development and progress, as well as a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir issue. He also thanked the people of Azad Kashmir for their support during the Indo-Pak war, highlighting the strong bond between Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
The prime minister thanked the people of Azad Kashmir for standing by the side of the Pakistani forces during the Indo-Pak war.
