ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Bagh, Azad Kashmir, on Friday to participate in the foundation stone ceremony of Daanish School has been postponed.

As per details, the premier will visit the district after Eid-ul-Fitr to lay the foundation stone of the Daanish School after Friday’s visit was postponed due to bad weather.

Former Information Minister and Senior Vice President of PML-N Azad Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has confirmed the delay of the much-anticipated foundation stone ceremony of Daanish School Bagh.

Earlier on Thursday, Chairman Prime Minister Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed visited the foundation stone site of Daanish School Bagh and reviewed the preparations.

The foundation stone of the Danish School was to be laid in Tehsil Hari Ghel constituency, Central Bagh. Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq and federal ministers will also attend the ceremony.

According to sources, one of the reasons for the postponement of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit was inadequate arrangements.

It should be remembered that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of the Daanish School in Bhimber district of Azad Kashmir on January 22, 2025.
