LAHORE: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday held a telephone conversation with Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
On the occasion, both the leaders discussed matters of mutual interest.
The premier extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the AJK President and expressed his good wishes regarding the resolution of the Kashmir cause.
He appreciated the efforts of the President of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry to highlight the Kashmir cause at the global level.
Prime Minister Sharif also inquired about the well-being of President AJK. He also expressed resolve to make collective efforts for the progress and prosperity of AJK.
According to the AJK government spokesperson, President Chaudhry also extended Eid greetings and warm wishes to the premier.
