JAMMU (Kashmir English): A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) marked aeroplane-shaped balloon was recovered in the Pargwal area of the Akhnoor, Jammu, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials said that the balloon was first spotted near Village Hamirpur Kona, close to the banks of the River Chenab. Villagers retrieved the balloon and immediately alerted authorities.
BSF takes possession of the balloon
The Border Security Force (BSF) promptly took possession of the object for examination and after thorough checks, officials confirmed that nothing suspicious was found.
Subsequently, the balloon was handed over to Pargwal Police Station for further necessary procedures.
