PIA completed post Hajj operation successfully

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA)  post-Hajj operation has been successfully completed on Thursday, according to media reports.

PIA’s last post-Hajj flight arrived in Islamabad from Medina at 8:30 pm on Thursday night. A total of more than 41,500 pilgrims returned home through 147 flights from PIA.

The departure ratio of PIA’s Hajj flights on schedule was more than 90 percent. PIA’s Hajj operation was operated from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta, Multan and Peshawar.

PIA used Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 aircraft for the Hajj operation. PIA’s post-Hajj operation started on June 10 and was completed on July 10.

The pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the steps taken by PIA.

Chief Executive Officer PIA Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat congratulated the teams involved in the Hajj operation on the successful Hajj operation.
