ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a strong statement against the leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said on Monday that the PTI’s political conduct was now clear before the people of the country.
He stated that the condition of PTI’s political support was clearly visible during the recent rally held in Peshawar. Talal Chaudhry said that no development project or public welfare agenda was discussed in the Peshawar rally; instead, the gathering contained “nothing but criticism.” He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa faces serious challenges on different counts, including terrorism, but the PTI leadership failed to address any of these issues.
The Minister said that the accusations, which PTI had drawn up in their rhetoric, were “practically proven wrong” during the rally. He alleged that the PTI founder “is sitting on someone’s shoulder and has been insulting the very institutions that facilitated his rise to power.”
Talal Chaudhry further berated the PTI founder for “never” talking about national martyrs while instead blaming the state institutions for everything. He added that the army, “which fought and defeated the enemy in the war for justice,” was deliberately targeted.
