LAHORE (Kashmir English): In a major step toward modernizing Pakistan cricket’s digital presence, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has launched its own online streaming service, PCB LIVE, marking the first time fans will have direct digital access to official PCB content on their preferred devices.
The PCB has already begun trials in the UK at live.pcb.com.pk. UK-based fans can register immediately and enjoy live streaming of the Pakistan–South Africa series, starting on 12 October 2025.
According to the PCB, a mobile app version of PCB LIVE will also be released later this month, allowing fans to stream matches on their smartphones and smart TVs.
PCB had previously announced plans to develop its own OTT streaming service, and this move is part of a broader strategy to bring Pakistan cricket closer to its global fan base, not just through live coverage of international games, but also via a treasure trove of archival footage, behind-the-scenes content, player interviews, and exclusive documentaries.
The platform will feature upcoming marquee events, including the tri-nation series between Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, as well as selected domestic tournaments that have rarely been broadcast before.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi called the launch a “momentous milestone” for the board and for Pakistan cricket fans worldwide.
He added that while the streaming service is debuting in the UK, global expansion is already in the pipeline. “No matter where our fans are, PCB LIVE will ensure Pakistan cricket is just a click away,” he said.
For fans, the launch signals more than just another streaming option; it represents Pakistan cricket stepping confidently into a digital-first future, where every boundary, wicket, and iconic moment is only a tap away.
