LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the PSL 11 Player Auction will take place on February 11, which marks the beginning of the most anticipated event before the upcoming Pakistan Super League season.
Gaddafi Stadium hosted a complete workshop, which resulted in an announcement that established the recruitment process and retention system for the future league operations.
The session included PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and PSL CEO Salman Naseer, who directed the meeting with all eight franchise representatives, PSL management, PCB officials, and members of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad and other capped cricketers in attendance.
Recent PSL editions featured top players who attended the event, which included Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman, as well as Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi, who are recognized as successful bowlers.
A leaked court document before this announcement revealed that the PSL 11 player auction was scheduled for February 14. The assertion has been proven false because the PCB declared February 11 as the official auction date.
The prior report shows a date that the board evaluated at one point, but the board refused to accept that the schedule adjustment happened through the leak; instead, they confirmed the auction would occur on the newly established auction date.
