MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Former President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, has said that India faced another diplomatic setback at the recently-held Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, which highlighted its increasing isolation.

He said that the world is now well aware of India’s negative and duplicitous role.

In an exclusive interview with a private TV channel, Sardar Masood Khan said that India tries to present itself as a victim state against terrorism, but the reality is that the extremist Hindutva government itself promotes hatred, violence, and division worldwide.

SCO platform

He said that India tried to impose its narrative on the SCO platform in the context of the fight against terrorism, separatism, and extremism, but Russia, China, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and other member states rejected this stance, making it clear that India’s extremist agenda is unacceptable.

Sardar Masood Khan accused India’s ruling party of promoting religious fascism, hatred against minorities, and extremism.

He said that India’s narrative contradicts its own policies because it uses terrorism as a weapon itself and blames others.

Referring to the assassination of Khalistan movement leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada and the arrest of Indian agents in the US, he said that these incidents provide irrefutable evidence of India’s state-level involvement in international terrorism.

Sardar Masood Khan stated that the world no longer believes India’s “tale of terrorism,” because India itself is involved in sabotage in the region on one hand, and on the other hand, tries to appear as a victim, which is sheer hypocrisy.

He warned that India’s nuclear doctrines and military ambitions are a threat to regional peace, as it seeks to achieve dominance through power and fear.

Praising Pakistan’s stance, Sardar Masood said that the SCO member states supported Pakistan’s principled stance and rejected India’s fabricated stories.
