ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Italy Ca’ Foscari University of Venice has announced merit-based scholarships in Italy for international students, including applicants from Pakistan, for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The scholarships aim to attract high-achieving students to both bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes at this prestigious Italian institution. Each scholarship is valued at €10,000 per year (approximately PKR 3.6 million) and is renewable for the full duration of the degree.
Bachelor’s programmes offer 8 “Honors Scholarships” which students can renew for three years, while master’s students can compete for 20 scholarships which they can renew for up to two years.
Eligible programmes are offered in both Italian and English languages which enables international applicants to access these courses. The scholarships cover tuition fees and provide financial support, allowing students to focus fully on their studies.
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships in Italy
Eligibility criteria include a minimum academic score equivalent to 85% CGPA, submission of a motivational video, reference letters (1 for bachelor’s, up to 2 for master’s), and a valid language proficiency certificate in the programme’s language of instruction. Applicants must register through the university’s online portal and submit all required documents, including a clear copy of a passport or EU ID, by 1:00 p.m. CEST on 31 March 2026 for consideration in the first and second admission rounds. The university will only consider applications that arrive complete and on schedule. The programme is expected to open doors for talented students from Pakistan and other developing countries, offering access to high-quality European education, international research opportunities, and a vibrant multicultural academic environment.
