Four former Pakistani Players among T20 World Cup commentary panel

DUBAI (Kashmir English): At least four former Pakistani players are among the commentary panel announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the 10th edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup.

The T20 World Cup is starting today in India and Sri Lanka, and its commentary team includes globally renowned names such as Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, and Ian Bishop.

Four former players from Pakistan; Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Bazid Khan, and Rameez Raja will be part of the commentary panel.

Other international cricketers who will take on commentary duties include Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa, and Carlos Brathwaite.

T20 World Cup starts today

An interesting aspect of the T20 World Cup is that current player and ICC World Test Championship winning captain Temba Bavuma will also be commentating in the World Cup.

Additionally, Angelo Mathews, winning team member of the 2014 T20 World Cup, will also be part of this commentary team, and both will be presenting their commentary during the World Cup for the first time.
