ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan reiterated its unwavering support for the unity and territorial integrity of Yemen, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan welcomed “the appeal made by the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen for a far-reaching dialogue for comprehensive talks in Riyadh and urged all stakeholders of Yemen to participate with good intentions” in the dialogue process.
Islamabad reiterated its stance that a “political solution with mutually agreed terms is a necessary course” for Yemen.
This press release indicated that “Pakistan, in the spirit of unity and brotherhood, looks forward to the role that the current regional and international initiatives are playing in bringing about peace in the Republic of Yemen.”
