ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Chief of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, has clarified that this victory is a practical proof of Pakistan’s air superiority and professional capabilities.
In his address, he said that during Operation Banyan Marsus, Pakistan achieved a clear superiority by giving an effective and forceful response to the enemy, and in all this operation, the Pakistan Air Force thwarted the enemy’s intentions under the best defensive strategy.
Addressing the passing out parade at PAF Academy Risalpur, the Chief of the Pakistan Air Force said that the victory in the Battle of Haq is not only operational but also an open expression of the Pakistan Air Force’s high performance, readiness, and determination to defend the homeland.
He stressed that when Pakistan’s sovereignty was challenged on the night of May 6 and 7, the Pakistan Air Force took prompt and effective action.
According to the Air Chief Marshal, the Pakistan Air Force retaliated that night, inflicting significant damage on the enemy and performing the duty of defending the homeland most effectively by targeting its most advanced aircraft, including the Rafale fighter jet.
He said that on May 10, the enemy’s defense system was successfully targeted, which is clear proof of the professionalism and technical superiority of the Pakistan Air Force.
In his address, he also said that in Operation Banyan Marsus, Pakistan proved its superiority not only in the air field but also in cyber warfare. According to him, all these successes are the result of the timely strategy, strong defense preparations, and professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force, which is capable of confronting every challenge.
Congratulating the passing out cadets, he said that they are becoming part of an institution that has always been at the forefront in defending the country’s sovereignty. He said that the Pakistan Air Force has fulfilled its responsibilities for the defense of the country in every era with utmost dedication and professional competence.
